Symposium on the Impact of Oil Extraction in North Orange County
The Symposium will feature experts in the fields of seismology, hydrogeology, air quality, and environmental geology who will speak to the potential impact of oil pumping – including fracking – on our groundwater, earthquake hazard, and water quality.

New Law Gives Bicyclist 3 Feet of Safety
Beginning September 16, 2014, drivers must give people riding bikes at least 3 feet of clearance when passing in the same direction.

The new law, AB-1371, is designed to reduce car-bicycle crashes by reminding drivers to give bicyclists more safe space when passing.
