|For the estimated 100 million Americans who suffer from a chronic illness, day-to-day living can be such a challenge that any thought of doing something other than "just getting by" may seem a pipe dream.|
That's the message of "Healthy Living," an educational series beginning April 8 at the Fullerton Community Center.
The free six-week course, which will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays, is designed to help people with chronic illnesses learn to manage and control the symptoms and conditions of their diseases, thus enabling them to lead fuller, healthier lives.
|The Fullerton Market will begin Thursday, April 2, and will run every Thursday through October 29. The market starts at 4 p.m. and goes until 8:30 p.m. Fullerton Market is located in the Downtown Plaza on Wilshire Avenue, between Harbor Boulevard and Pomona Avenue, adjacent to the Fullerton Museum Center.
