| | Local dog and cat owners can have their pets spayed/neutered and micro-chipped, free of charge on Saturday, June 22nd from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Fullerton Community Center located at 340 West Commonwealth Avenue. The event, sponsored by "Lifeline 4 Paws" and hosted by the City of Fullerton is free for those living in the 92831, 92832, 92833 and 92835 area codes; however, appointments are required.

| | The City of Fullerton and KOTRA Los Angeles (KOTRA LA) will sign a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the Fullerton Library Conference Center located at 353 W. Commonwealth Ave. adjacent to City Hall.

| | Fullerton Library Director, Maureen Gebelein announced today that as part of the Summer Reading events, they will be hosting a new Library Card design contest. The winning cards will be included with the thousands of library cards that the Fullerton Public Library issues out each year.
