Can I leave a message for the Fullerton Police Department?

Do you have any crime prevention programs?
Yes, we have several. We soon hope to have information on all of them detailed here. Programs include Neighborhood Watch, security inspection, vacation home checks and speakers on a variety of topics. In the meantime please call our Community Services Bureau at (714) 738-6835.
How many people work at the Fullerton Police Department?
We have 153 sworn officers and 78 civilian employees. A sworn position is one which requires completion of a police academy and certification by the state to be an officer. The civilian positions include jailers, crime scene technicians and office personnel.
What about employment opportunities?
We have our own Recruitment/Personnel Bureau. Please call the recruitment officer at (714) 738-3377 for information.
What are the rules for towing vehicles from private property?
Regulations for both the towing of vehicles from private property and the signage that is required can be found in section 3.75.320 of the Fullerton Municipal Code.
What can I do about graffiti in my neighborhood?
If the graffiti is in progress please call the police department at once. If graffiti needs to be removed, you may call the City's Graffiti Hotline at 738-3180. Citizens may also report graffiti by sending an email message to GraffitiH@ci.fullerton.ca.us. The City's Maintenance Services Department has workers who will be assigned to this task.
What phone number do I call for the Fullerton Police?
If you have an emergency (crime in progress or when somebody is injured), immediately call 911. This will connect you with one of our dispatchers. Our regular business line is (714) 738-6800. To reach the Desk Officer, to make a report or to obtain general information, call 738-6716. Our automated telephone directory is avaiable at 738-6715.
