Fullerton Police Department
The Fullerton Police Department is charged with the enforcement of local, state, and federal laws, and with providing around-the-clock protection of the lives and property of the public. The Police Department functions both as an instrument of public service and as a tool for the distribution of information, guidance and direction.
It is the mission of the Police Department to facilitate and administer the laws of governing bodies, the orders of the courts, and to direct all energies and resources toward maintaining the health, welfare and safety of citizens. News

Learning how to protect yourself and your loved ones will be the focus of the Thursday, Aug. 26, session of “Conversation with your City,” a special program series presented by Fullerton Councilwoman Sharon Quirk-Silva. The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Fullerton Museum Center, 301 N. Pomona Ave., one block east of Harbor Boulevard, in downtown Fullerton.

This law establishes a procedure for the voluntary surrender of a baby within 72 hours of birth. Under this law, parent(s) can safely surrender their baby and be protected from prosecution for child abandonment. This law makes it easier for a parent to surrender a baby who might otherwise abandon their baby in an unsafe place.

The FLY Program has been designed to encourage youth in making positive and safe choices. The program is a collaborative effort between the Fullerton Police and the Parks and Recreation Department. The goal of the FLY Program is to assist youth in becoming aware of their abilities, behavior, and values, qualities we believe are necessary in developing healthy and responsible young adults.
