Project Safe is a collaboration between the Museum, the Fullerton Joint Union High School District, the Police Dept., the Boys and Girls Club of Fullerton, and other community based organizations dedicated to providing alternate activities for young people at risk for drug and gang involvement.

This is the first year of a 5 year grant. The museum provides one large scale public art piece per 5 year cycle and art classes each semester for students in Opportunity School.

For more information about Project Safe call Tracy Gutierrez at La Sierra High School at 714-446-8664.

Project Safe has taken over from Project CUFFS, the long running collaboration that produced 9 murals in Fullerton since 1994.
