The City’s Public Art Committee is made up of 15 members representing the Fullerton Museum Center Board of Trustees, the Redevelopment Design Review Committee, Redevelopment Project Area 2 Committee, the Downtown Business Association, and the Parks and Recreation Commission. Since its inception in 1996 the Committee has produced 10 original, large scale public art works that are now part of the City’s Public Art Collection, as well as spearheading major restoration of two existing works: the Lemon Park which were extensively restored in 1996,and Flight, which was cleaned, lit, and repaired in 2002.
