
A 12-week program for students in grades 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, of acoustic guitar lessons, guided practice, and mini-courses in music theory, history and appreciation, with an emphasis on jazz, blues and rock, and concert performances. The course also explores the many intersections that can occur between visual art and music. When- Tuesdays, 4:00-6:30 p.m.

WhoStudents in grades 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. Museum Educator Aimee Aul leads the classes, along with guest instructor Eric Ray, a member of the adjunct faculty for guitar studies and music fundamentals at both Fullerton College and the Los Angeles Trade Center Technical College.
Ray, renowned for his skill in both classic and contemporary music genres, holds a bachelor degree in music from Cal State L.A., and a master degree in guitar performance from the San Francisco Conservatory.In addition to teaching music, he writes music and plays in what he calls an “alternative folk metal blues” band called "All of Us/None of Us." Museum hours are noon-4 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and noon – 8 p.m. Thursday.
