Interested in giving school tours and working with children? Then becoming a museum docent is for you!
A 12-week program for students in grades 5,6, 7, and 8, and 9 of guitar lessons, guided practice, and mini-courses in music theory, history and appreciation, with an emphasis on jazz, blues and rock.
A hands-on art class for grades 1-6. Students will enjoy painting, drawing, printmaking, clay sculpting and more!
Tours include participatory experiences for students in the museum gallery and a reinforcement of the education concepts through the hands-on art activity.
Available Year-round: Tues, Thurs, and Fri from 9:30am - 11:00am
Public Art
Fullerton has a rich history of public art. Highlights of the City’s public art collection include Charles Kassler’s “Pastoral California” on the exterior wall of Plummer Auditorium, one of the state’s largest frescos and Fullerton’s oldest extant mural, and Aldo Casanova’s 1978 large outdoor sculpture Flight at City Hall.
