Fullerton, Ca – Mystery author Elizabeth George will reveal some of the thrills of writing when she speaks on Sunday, February 23, 2014. 1:00 p.m. at the Fullerton Public Library, as part of the library's Distinguished Speaker Series.

George’s "Inspector Lynley" novels have been adapted by the BBC and broadcast on PBS as The Inspector Lynley Mysteries.  She is one of only two American writers whose novels have been adapted for PBS’s Mystery!

George graduated from Cal State Fullerton with her master’s in Counseling/Psychology. She began her professional life as a teacher, and won the Orange County Teacher of the Year Award for her work with remedial students.

George’s novels have not only topped bestseller lists internationally, they have also earned prestigious awards, including the Agatha Award and the Anthony Award.

George’s talk will be followed by a book-signing. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
