|Fullerton, Ca – "The Legends and Legacies: The First 100 Years of Fullerton College" exhibit which opened on April 27 will be coming to a close on Sunday, July 14. The exhibit is curated by Fullerton College and admission is free for members of the Fullerton Museum Center, and $4 for the general public, $3 students and senior 65 , $1 children 6-12 free for children 5 and under. |
Celebrating Fullerton College's Centennial, the exhibit explores the historical, social, and cultural growth of the college and its relationship with Orange County through personal histories and collections. It also observes the growing role of technology in contemporary education and asks what kind of college it should become.
A Family Day is planned by the Fullerton Museum to give everyone, especially kids, one last chance to see this exhibit on Sunday, July 14 from noon to 4:00 p.m. Drop-in tours, crafts and a scavenger hunt are all part of the planned festivities that are free with museum admissions.
The museum is located at 301 N. Pomona Ave., east of Harbor Blvd., in downtown Fullerton. Hours are noon-4 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday and Friday-Sunday, and noon – 8 p.m. Thursday. Further information may be obtained by calling the Fullerton Museum Center at (714) 738-6545.
