Learn what Leo had in mind when he designed these state-of-the art instruments. Get tricks of the trade on how to make the most of your bass with special guest presenter Steve Grom, Director of Manufacturing at G&L Musical Instruments.
The focus will be on Leo Fender’s development and evolution of the instrument from the early days at Fender, through his work at Music Man and G&L. The various features of the instruments (all brands) will be highlighted in terms of how they related to new ideas, changes in musical style and the advancements in bass playing technique over the years.
Steve Grom will use the bass from the early years as the foundation to illustrate how far bass guitars have come and provide some musical examples of this evolution along the way.
