Platforms, sequins, music, and more! Visit the Fullerton Museum Center on the last day of the “Lay Down the Boogie: OC in the Disco Era” exhibit.
On Sunday, September 23, the Fullerton Museum Center will be holding their “Family Day” event from Noon to 4 p.m. All are welcome. The day will include drop-in tours of the exhibit, scavenger hunts for prizes, hands on crafts and more.
“Lay Down the Boogie: OC in the Disco Era”, created by the Fullerton Museum staff and special guest curator, Jim Washburn, features clothing, music, and memorabilia of the Disco era with a special emphasis on the pop culture scene in Orange County. “Disco Family Day” is free with regular admission to the museum.
Museum admission is $4 for adults, $3 for students with student identification and senior citizens 65 and older, $1 for children 6 to 12, and free to children under 5 and to members of the Fullerton Museum Center.
The award-winning Fullerton Museum Center is located at 301 N. Pomona Avenue, one block east of Harbor Boulevard, in downtown Fullerton.
